The Trust was delighted to make a contribution of £600 towards Olivers Sensory Room at home. The room, which essentially is a soft play environment allows Oliver to play safely and to be visually stimulated by lights and bubbles which he can interact with.

 

Michelle Redrave, One of the Trustees, takes two labradors, Zulu and Masaii into the Riverside school each month, for Dog Therapy with the special needs students. Oliver spends weekends with these dogs and is developing a special relationship with them. He will play appropriately and throw the ball for them.

 

Oliver loves water and is a good swimmer. This is also a good environent for him to make advances in his learning. Accordingly, the trust is planning to fund a trip for Oliver to dive with Dolphins. The course is expensive, so funds permitting this will happen.  

The Trust contributes towards a riding for the disabled programme at Bradbourne in Sevenoaks in which Oliver takes part.

The Trust is investigating the specialist ABA learning technique for Oliver.
